What are the things that make a real man? Being together with other men and doing manly things, of course. Being a male has been sheer bliss so far. But the Paradise is being corrupted by different types of `parasitic invaders`… and the dream world starts falling apart.

How does a man respond? He sticks to his guns? He takes action? He fights back? Or tries to compromise and accommodate himself to the new circumstances? To `integrate` or not, that is the question.

What can an Estonian male actually do? What are his accomplishments? He sings and dances until he feels free. He voluntarily takes over cooking, cleaning, and taking care of children, cunningly depriving women of their favourite argument against men. Meanwhile, he looks inward still trying to figure out what the true essence of manhood is.

In gender M, a bunch of guys, namely Jürgen Rooste, Kaur Riismaa, Ivar Sild, Siim Aimla, Marko Martinson and Meelis Tasur, undertakes a spiritual journey `in search of the Holy Grail`. However, they approach the topic with wit, humour and self-irony.

Premier on 19 September 2016 at the Vaba Lava venue.

Performances on 20 September, 14 and 15 October, 1, 5, 28, 29 November.

Artist´s talk after the second performance on 20 September.
