In her new production “MASC”, Sveta Grigorjeva explores what kinds of masculinity are needed in today’s world. What does it mean to be a man? To be masculine? Especially at a time when masculinity is said to be in crisis — when some believe it is disappearing, while others see it as increasingly toxic. What might a form of masculinity look like that empowers not only the person who embodies it, but also those around them?
