Four people live on an island in the middle of the Baltic Sea – father Hans, grandmother Inna, teenager daughter Angela and neighbourhood boy Karl.
The father has created a whole world for the family.
Angela only knows what her father has told her.
Karl knows more than he let on.
But what does the grandmother keep to herself?
Andra Teede’s psychological drama Island of Dreams is a story of survival, fear and power. How easily belief can become restriction and how freedom can seem more dangerous than captivity.
