Have you ever wanted to be able to stop time? With the “Sistere Tempus” device, you can easily do it!
Award-winning absurd comedy “Sistere tempus” (Latin for “to stop time”) comes to Tallinn’s Fringe Festival for one night! See it on the 12 th of September, at 19:00, in an independent theatre and performing arts centre “Vaba Lava” completely for free (registration link below)!

“Sistere tempus” navigates between reality and theatre, fictional characters and real human existence, the flow of time and its’ suspension. At the heart of the performance is a groundbreaking scientific invention that allows anyone who possesses it to stop time at will. The “Future Humans” corporation is filming a commercial for the device, directed and edited in real-time by artificial intelligence. Through absurd, comedic, and at times illogical scenes, the true faces of people, their desires, and secrets are revealed, along with an insatiable longing to pause and start living at a slower pace.

“Right now, you’re waiting for me to say something. To explain what was real and what was just an illusion. What truly happened and what you imagined yourself. You’re waiting for me to somehow solve this puzzle. But I am just an advertisement, one you’ll skip or quickly forget about. I exist only to offer you a choice – to heal or to ignore the problem, to stop time or to race into the unknown at full speed” (excerpt from the play).

Performance is free of charge (registration required) and will be played in Lithuanian with English surtitles
